Michael Graves was an actor not afraid to plumb the depths of human emotions. When I found out he was going to start chemotherapy I asked if I could document the process. I already knew the answer as Michael was never camera shy. He was open, engaging, vulnerable, a friend of too few years who always gave me a kiss.
